WE HAVE MADE MANY, MANY PURCHASES FROM YOUR COMPANY. HOWEVER, I AM HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS ABOUT EVER USING YOU AGAIN. I WANTED TO BUY A DASH CAM THAT ALSO RECORDS THE CARS SPEED, GPS AND SO ON. WELL IN YOUR CHRISTMAS CATALOG ON PAGE 27 YOU ARE ADVERTISING A COBY DASH CAM AND WITHIN YOUR ADS TEXT YOU CLEARLY STATE, IN BOLD LETTERS, "GPS LOGGER FEATURE RECORDS EXACT LOCATON, SPEED AND SUDDEN ACCELERATION!" WELL THAT STATEMENT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT "UNTRUE!" AS SOON AS YOUR PACKAGE ARRIVED AT MY BEACH HOUSE TODAY, I GOT EXCITED AND OPENED IT RIGHT AWAY AND READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK. THE MORE I GOT INTO THE INSTRUCTION BOOK THE MORE I REALIZED THERE WASN'T A WORD ABOUT GPS, SPEED OR ACCELERATION. I CALLED YOUR COMPANY AND WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE A 4 MINUTE WAIT TIME. YEAH SURE, 4 MINUTES MY BUTT! I WAITED WELL OVER 10 MINUTES ANDTHEN THE GUY THAT TOOK MY CALL WAS AS USELESS AS A SCREEN DOOR IN A SUBMARINE. HE DIDN'T KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND SUGGESTED THAT I CALL THE COBY COMPANY AND ASK THEM ALL ABOUT THE CAMERA. WELL NOW I WAS FORCED TO MAKE A LONG DISTANCE CALL TO THE 718 AREA CODE AND I LIVE IN FLORIDA. NOW YOU COST ME A LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE CALL, THANKS TO YOUR FALSIFIED AD AND YOUR INEPT EMPLOYEE. WHEN I CALLED THE COBY COMPANY I ASKED ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR MODEL DASH CAM AND I WAS TOLD THAT, "NO THAT MODEL DOES NOT RECORD, GPS, SPEED OR ACCELERATION!" I THEN ASKED. "IF COBY DOES HAVE A MODEL THAT DOES RECORD GPS, SPEED AND ACCELERATION?" HE TOLD ME, YES WE DO, BUT IT'S MORE EXPENSIVE." I THEN ASKED HIM, HOW MUCH IS IT?" HE EXPLAINED, THEY ONLY SELL WHOLESALE AND I SHOULD SHOP AROUND TO GET THE BEST PRICE.

A SCAM Company. Avoid like the plague

This Company is not a good one and should be investigated by the IRS. I have been trying to get a rebate for eight weeks.

Cannot even get to customer service by phone and receptionist does not know how to get to other members of the company and when she tried to get me to rebate I got a " heavy call volume will be a waith of at least 6 minutes and 57 seconds" I got that same message everytime I called. I sent my original rebate request with my cost for mailing and the required forms to the address label they gave to me.

I have heard nothing yet.

That is unacceptable treatment of a customer

I have ordered several items from heartland over the years without issue but my last purchase very different. This item arrived damaged to the point of being ridiculous. The outside cardboard carton was fine but inside the microphone packaging was partially opened and appeared crushed. When I removed the microphone from the inner box I immediately noticed that it was damaged and picking it up caused the internals to rattle. Needless to say it did not work when tested. I called customer service for a refund but they were completely hands off because they claim this was a drop shipped item and they couldn't issue a refund I would have to deal with the drop shipper. I ordered this from heartland yet they don't take care of customer service issues related to this product.

I ordered some things back in July of 2016. The order cost me alot of money, I mean alot! Then 2 weeks after I ordered, I got a letter in the mail, saying I owed an additional $25 & cents. I used my debit card for the additional cost. August 30, 2016 I got a call from them saying there was an overcharge on shipping & I would be getting a refund of $57, this would be put back into my debit card account. Well it's September 22, 2016 now, money has not been put back into my debit card account yet. I tried calling them, saying it was a 14 minute wait time due to high volume of calls. After said 14 mins, I was cut off! I assure you I WILL NOT ever be ordeeing from this company again. Buyer beware!

I have never called Heartland America to either ask about a product or something I ordered. Every person that I have ever spoke with were RUDE and with a monotone voice. Even supervisors are very unfriendly and act like YOU are bothering THEM. WHY is everyone rude that works there? Is being a total *** a requirement to be employed there? I am not asking for anyone to roll out the red carpet for me when I call - I just want some basic, human decency. It is not that hard to do and not much to ask. I just don't get these people. I have been ordering since the Damark International days - twenty years ago! It's not right to be treated by a "customer service" rep that clearly does not want to be there answering the phone. Get another job if you don't like it. There have been a few times where I considered flying into MSP, driving over to Chaska and kick someone's *** at this company.

Impossible to cancel order; selling same item on Ebay for 25% less

Bought item via Heartland America's website. Said regular price was $222, sale price $99 + free shipping. After adding misc. fees, total came to $125. Paid via PayPal. But when I googled to see what other companies were selling it for, I found that Heartland America sold the same exact item on a daily basis on eBay for about $70+$14.95 shipping. Contacted Heartland America to cancel my order and was on hold for 50 MINUTES. Heartland rep said it could not cancel the order, even though it was not scheduled to ship for five days. Rep said PayPal had to effect the cancel. Called PayPal, who told me Heartland America had to cancel the order. PayPal rep tried to resolve it with Heartland America, but was also placed on hold for more than 45 minutes and finally gave up. THIS WAS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH HEARTLAND AMERICA, AND I ASSURE YOU IT WILL BE MY LAST. I'M FED UP WITH RIP-OFF COMPANIES LIKE THIS.

im very pissed at customer service. i mailed an order and a check to pay for item. later called customer service to cancel order cause i was not going to have sufficient funds to cover check. order was cancel. couple days later i was checking my bank account balance and notice that somebody from customer service had deposit check for payment after the order had been canceled. now my checking account is negative and an overdraft fee has been charged. i attempted to get in touch with customer service with negative results. i email heartland america twice and have not gotten a responds neither.

Said it shipped 6/10 /2016 on speedee it has been in transit ever since called them today and was told it would be deliverd today it hasn't showed maybe you can check on it order no is3162**** tracking no is sp003028****272330. Sorry just not happy with speedee something like this happen before. So if we ever order anything again we donot want it to come on speedee

I ordered a rolling walker for my father and it took Heartland 19 days to deliver the product even though I paid $12.95 for shipping. I ended up having to return the walker because by this time we had bought my dad a walker.

I had to pay $33.94 cents for postage to have it returned! On top of that Heartland has the gall to charge $2.95 for a return process fee! The walker cost $88.88.

This means that I literally gave Heartland $49.84 and they got their product back so they can cheat the next unsuspecting customer. You can bet I will not be ordering anything from this company ever again!

They sold my 82 year old mother items that don't work and are of little value at name brand prices, and to return the items it would cost almost as much as the item itself Return fees and shipping..Most reputable companies send a return label with the order. When they answer the phone you will be put on hold for at least 10 minutes (that's when I hung up). No reply to e-mails. Needless to say their catalogs will go straight to the recycle bin... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered a popular brand of sandals, two months later no sandals, no email no letter. Called the company, sandals were on back order. Month later, called again could not find my order or their receipt of my check which had been paid through my bank 3 months earlier. Customer service said that they could not help me. I called again two days later and spoke to a representative who was not brain dead and were discovered that my order was filed under the zip code on my check rather than the zip code from which the order was placed. I had moved two years earlier and did not bother to order new checks until my current supply was exhausted. I was told that it could take up to six months to get the check back at which time they would forward it to my correct address. I will never do business with these people again.
